Lorena has lived in Las Vegas since June 2016 after having moved from California. She received her B.A. in Anthropology at California State University, Los Angeles and has worked with the ALC team since May 2017. When she isn't working with her students, she enjoys going out to the movies.


JELLY M., RBT

Jelly finished her undergraduate at the Technological University of the Philippines with a Bachelor's in Art Education in 2010. As part of her training in the undergraduate studies, she was assigned to do a practicum in an elementary school specializing in mainstreaming children with special needs where she taught several subjects including Art and Literature at a private high school. She was a teacher for three years but her experience with children on the spectrum fueled a passion to seek a career in special education. Jelly moved to Las Vegas in 2015 and has been working with ALC since July 2016. With a desire to continue her career in ABA, she will begin her Master's degree at UNLV in Special Education with an emphasis in ABA. Although Jelly grew up on an island, she learned to swim in the desert.



SHANNE M., RBT

Shanne was born in Hawaii and has been living in Las Vegas since 2002. She received an Advanced honors High School Diploma at a local Career and Technical Academy, where she also received her Certificates for Nursing Assistant and Medical Assistant. Shanne has always had a passion of working with children and completed her medical externship at a Pediatrics Facility. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Shanne has been part of the ALC team since May of 2016. She enjoys traveling and being outdoors.



GLADYS M., RBT

Gladys is originally from the Philippines, where she took the first three years of undergraduate school at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. In 2008, she moved to the Virginia and completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology with dual minors in Philosophy and Religion from the Old Dominion University-Norfolk. She recently completed her Master’s in Psychology and is currently enrolled in the clinical psychology doctoral program at Walden University. Gladys started as an RBT in Virginia in February 2016, before she moved to Las Vegas in November 2016. She joined the ALC team in April of 2017. Gladys enjoys cooking as much as she enjoys running and adventure filled activities.



VAN N., RBT

Van moved to Las Vegas in June of 2017 and has been with ALC since September 2017. She was born and raised in Southern California and has been working with children for over 10 years with 8 years of ABA experience. Van graduated with her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Science at Arizona State University in 2016. In her free time she likes to spend time with her cat Franklin, read, cook and enjoy the excitement that Las Vegas has to bring.




SOPHIE B., RBT

Sophie moved to the Las Vegas area at the beginning of 2018 and started working with ALC in January of that year. She moved here from Oregon, and prior to that she lived in southern California and western Michigan. She has her Associates in Sign Language Interpreting and her Bachelors in Communication Disorders. She is currently working towards her BCABA through Florida Tech. One fun fact about Sophie is that during her time in California she performed in a few musicals and when she has downtime still enjoys dancing and performing on stage.




VINCE W., RBT

Vince was born and raised in Las Vegas, leaving only to attend college at Ohio Wesleyan University where he earned his B.A. in Special Education. He has been working on the ALC team since January of 2017. During his downtime, he likes coaching football and being with his family.





CLARISSA Z., RBT
Clarissa has lived in Las Vegas for 15 years and is currently a student at UNLV. She is currently working on her undergraduate degree in Psychology and began working at ALC in October of 2014. Clarissa is fluent in English and in Spanish.​
